Alpine tractor & flail

King of the mountain. This tractor has a centre-pivot which makes it more manoeuvrable than a full-size tractor. It's also narrower and lighter, so can access and work in areas that a full-size tractor can't.

Hammer flails

Heavy-duty agricultural topping

Driven by the tractor's PTO, the Dragone is a 150cm wide hammer flail with lateral hydraulic adjustment. Lateral flexibility means the topper can be offset to the side to get in close to fences & hedges etc.

This has hinged sharpened hammer flails that cut vegetation, but hinge when they hit obstacles such as stumps, roots, rocks or uneven ground.  The cuttings are double-cut (mulched) and returned to the soil as a natural fertiliser.

BCS Valiant 650 centre-pivot

Centre-pivoting tractors are more manoeuvrable than traditional tractors because they have a tighter turning circle. It's also got a lower centre of gravity and no cab which allows it to get under trees.

As the name suggests, this is the ideal machine for otherwise inaccessible machines such as hilly terrain and woodland. Front mounted winch is there to aid extraction when otherwise stuck.

Bull-bar frame pushes tough woody brush under the tractor, squashing to ground level prior to being topped by the flail.
